I enjoy working with adults, both individually and couples. Most of my clients struggle with anxiety or depression but I also have significant experience working with more severe and complex disorders. Therapy at its core is about relationships and trust. I suggest to my clients that when looking for a therapist they talk to 2 or 3 different therapists to see who they feel understands them and connects with them emotionally. I take a holistic and broad view of the person in my work. That means your treatment will be considered in the context of your physical health and history, diet, exercise, spirituality and even what you do for fun. I have a postdoctoral masters degree in psychopharmacology. I cannot prescribe meds in California but I'm glad to consult with your primary care physician if you are taking medications.
